November Favourites - Essence nude lipstick, Avon Moroccan argon oil hair spray, IKEA vanilla candle

Essence - 06 barely there nude lipstick

Does't this lipstick just scream Kylie Jenner to you?  For me this is a perfect dupe for MAC'S velvet teddy matte lipstick however it's a fraction of the price.  This lipstick retails at £2.30 so you can't really complain.  The sleek matte finish and the matte case is just a bonus.

IKEA - vanilla candle

I genuinely think this candle was £1, I picked it up a few months back and it's lasted absolutely ages!  The scent isn't too strong or sweet but it's able to fill the room with a lovely warm smell.

Avon - Moroccan argon oil hair mist

Avon is such a bargain brand but honestly one of the best out there.  Avon unfortunately isn't available in a store but only through a catalog.  This hair mist smells incredible and also offers so much protection against heat.

What have been your November favourites?

~ October Favourites 2014 ~

October Favorites - Topshop black boots, beauty uk eyebrow kit, MAC 129SE brush, Victoria's Secret coconut passion body mist

Victoria's Secret - coconut passion body mist ~ whenever I smell this scent from VS it just screams summer at me, so why is this included in my October favourites?  Anyway, if you like the smell of coconuts and vanilla then this will be perfect for you!

MAC - 129SE powder brush ~ I've had this brush for a good few years now but I've only just rediscovered it.  It's the perfect size for sweeping pressed powder on your fact but also amazing for blush and contour.

Beauty UK ~ eyebrow kit - my friend actually gave me this to try out a month ago and I'm actually in love!  It's so cheap but such an amazing product.  I've completely changed my eyebrow routine thanks to this little beauty and I'm obsessed that it comes with wax.

Topshop ~ black boots - I bought these back in August but I'm still wearing them.  They came to only £40 which I was so shocked at, especially for Topshop!  I've wanted a pair of Vagabonds for so long but I couldn't justify paying nearly £100 on them so I'm sticking with my trusty Topshop boots!

How beautiful are these shoes?  I picked up these beauties back in September when River Island had a 25% discount and I cannot be happier with them!

I seen this mug in Urban Outfitters and immediately thought of Beyonce, did anyone else?

A pair of fresh, black Joni's...it had to be done!

Everyone loves a new pair of shoes, right?

I have been following Sammi's blog and youtube channel now for about 4 years and she keeps getting better as time goes on!  From her personality to her on point style she couldn't get more perfect!  I'm so happy she has such a big recognition in England and obviously all round the world!

~ Primer Time ~

I believe a good primer is one of the most important things to have in your makeup collection.  Not only is it responsible for keeping your makeup on longer but it also helps the application process, so for this I am a fan!  Finding the right primer for your skin type is crucial.  People may prefer silicone based primers to gel or cream ones, it all depends on the person!  Sometimes, as well a budget primer can just be as good as a high end one.

1.  Smashbox ~ PHOTO FINISH Foundation Primer / COLOR CORRECTING ADJUST - (£25.00)
The good thing about Smashbox primers are that they come in all different colours, the purpose of this is for all the different skin types out there.  For example I picked up the green tube because it is meant to cancel out redness and even out skin tone, as well as keeping your makeup looking fresh all day long and I must say it does just that!  Admittedly it is on the pricey side but it has last me from Christmas.  I tend to use this primer if I have a specially occasion so I don't waste it but I wish I could afford to use it everyday.  The consistency I would say is a thick creamy gel formula, leaving your skin feeling soft and refreshed.  A quick tip, a little goes a long way!

2.  Beauty UK ~ Prime fx foundation primer - (£3.99)
A while back I was sent this by the girls at Beauty UK and I was so excited to try out a new, affordable primer!  This primer is completely silicone based which I can imagine isn't good for quite a few skin types so be careful!  For the price it does do a good job of keeping your makeup on for quite a bit but I do have oily skin and sometimes it doesn't stop my foundation from moving.

3.  MUA ~ PRO BASE EYE PRIMER - (£2.50)
I absolutely adore this stuff!  I cannot rant and rave about it enough!  Seriously if you're looking for an eye primer don't bother going to get the Urban Decay's primer potion just get this.  I wear it everyday and it keeps my eye makeup looking fresh all day.  It looks like concealer but you will realise when you put it on the lid it's not that good coverage to be used as one but as a eye primer goes its seriously amazing!

What are your favourite primers?

~ Insta Snaps #14 ~

Can't believe I've left it so long since doing another one of these posts, my bad guys!  Anyway the following photos are just pictures of what I've been up to, enjoy!

Over the past year + a half I've been having my room redecorated but also transformed.  I might do a full blog post on my new room but for now I thought I would share my new dressing table which I am totally in love with!  I know a lot of bloggers own this dressing table from Ikea but I still love it all the same!

Another thing that I picked up from Ikea was this beautiful bedding which also a lot of bloggers own but for 20 quid you can't go wrong!

My beautiful Liverpool x

A few Friday's ago me and Dan attended the JAWS gig in Liverpool and it turned out to be a really good night!  It was held at The East Village Arts Club and the band played insanley well!  So here have a selfieeee!

September Favourites

f

Victoria's Secret / Aqua Kiss body mist

I cannot think of one person who doesn't enjoy having a Victoria's Secret body spray whatever the flavour shall be!  I picked up 6 body sprays when I was last in London and I do not regret one of them!  For me, the Aqua Kiss smell has to be my favourite though.  It's just so fresh and floral, I really can't think of a perfume like it!

Mac / Heroine

This is a product that you either love or absolutely despise!  Luckily for me I am in love with it!  I've featured it before but I'm still obsessed with just how purple it is.  On tanned skin it looks absolutely amazing!

Superdrug / eyelash curlers

This past month I've been using eyelashes curlers in my daily routine and it is fair to say that I've noticed a really big difference.  When I use them my eyelashes are so much more longer and curlier than if I don't!  And in my opinion there's no need to splash the cash.

Essence / 08 Red Blush lipliner

I went into Wilko's a month ago and picked up a few Essene things and I am not disappointed with one of them!  I piked up this deep red lipliner along side a nude but the reds a winner for me!  The only problem with their lipliners is that when sharpening them it leaves them rough around the edges so if you have any techniques to sharpern lipliners then leave them down below!  I love using this colour underneath ruby woo by mac, it turns the color into a more picky red with a blue undertone!

The Vera Wang Edition

I've recently been looking through my perfume collection and I quickly realised that most of the bottles sitting on my dressing table are mostly from the talented Vera Wang.  From a young age I have always had a bottle of perfume from Vera.  I think every scent she makes is suitable for everyone of all ages and I think it's fair to say that I am a major fan!

Vera Wang ~ Rock Princess

Unfortunately this perfume is no longer made, sob..  This was my first ever perfume by Vera Wang and I think it may just by my favourite!  I picked up my first bottle back when I was 11 in Harrods when it first came out and I remember thinking I was the bomb!  I would say Rock Princess is the most fruitiest out of all of the ones I have but so sweet yet so lovely, I am just in love!  For my 15th birthday my parents found Rock Princess in a Tesco's store and I had no idea how seeing as it was limited edition!  It's last me absolutely ages and I'm not looking forward to when it finishes.

Vera Wang ~ Night Princess

I find the fact that this perfume has no name written on it at all, it only has glitter stuck to the bottle.  Anyway, I really love this scent however I would say that I use it the least!  I don't know why but I just don't ever think of putting it on.  Again, the scent is quite sweet but not as fruity as Rock Princess.  I don't even know if you can still buy this bottle or not, if so give it a smell next time you're in John Lewis!

Vera Wang ~ Princess

The original.  I think this scent will always remain with me just purely because it's the original and will never leave the store!  This was Vera's first perfume and it's certainly worth the first place spot.  I would say the smell is quite girly but mature women could get away with wearing it.  I don't know perfume is a hard one to judge.

Vera Wang ~ Be Jeweled

This is my newest addition to the Vera family and it certainly doesn't disappoint!  Actually Dan just picked me up another bottle of this just last week after going on holiday, I'm one lucky girl!  Whenever I spray this perfume I just think of Escada?  I have no idea why but it's really fruity with a hing of lemon but it's still really nice!

I love the packaging to Vera Wang perfumes, I just think they're so simple and lovely!

Do you own any Vera Wang perfumes?  If so, what ones?

~ Under £10 Beauty Must Have's #1 ~

This post is a new edition to my blog and it will be about my favourite drug store products that are under £10.  I think this is a great thing for people who are more on a budget, especially students!  Enjoy!

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer ~ Fair 1 / St Moriz Tan ~ Medium / Real Techniques Brush ~ Expert Face

St Moriz Tan ~ Medium

Back in the summer I included this tan in a favourites post but I seriously cannot get enough of it!  It retails at different places wherever you go but I think it usually goes for around £4!  It's such a steal at that price and it lasts ages.  This certain product comes in a spray / mist but you can pick up the moose if you prefer.  If you despise the smell of fake then you won't like this though.

Real Techniques ~ Expert Face Brush

The expert face brush was the first ever Real Techniques brush I bought and I instantly fell in love and I love the fact that you can buy them individually.  If you were to ask me which brush I prefer between the buffing brush and the expert face brush I would have to say the buffing brush just because you don't have to apply that much pressure.  I find with the expert face brush it takes a lot of hard work to apply foundation but I still love it!  It gives  a flawless finish to your foundation and and at £8.99 you can't go wrong!

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer ~ Fair 1

I have seen so many bloggers rant and rave about this product from Collection and I'm sorry but I have to join them on this one!  This concealer is just so creamy and it's amazing for highlighting your under eye area!  In my opinion it's such a good dupe for the NARS creamy radiant concealer.  At £4.19 you can't go wrong!

What are your favourite products that are under £10?

~ The Beauty Alert Tag ~

The Beauty Alert Tag!

I was tagged by the lovely Grace and Leigh - ann off Instagram to do The Beauty Alert Tag so that's what I'm going to do!

  1. Favourite Face Product?  I can't just pick one, if we're talking primers I love the Beauty UK prime fx however I love the Smashbox photo finish for red skin!  They both work wonders to keep your makeup on for hours and looking flawless.  For foundation it has to be Rimmel 25 hour in 100 ivory or Mac's studio fix in NW 13!
  2. Worse Face Product?  For some strange reason I really didn't get on with Mac's pro long wear foundation.  Maybe I was using the wrong brush but I just found it to be too runny and streaky.
  3. All Time Favourite Eye Product?  Has to be 2true effortless waterproof liquid eyeliner, hands down!  For 2 quid it really is amazing!  I really can't fault it in anyway!!
  4. Favourite lipstick brand?  MAC!!
  5. Favourite Drug Store Brand?  Rimmel probably.
  6. Favourite High - End Brand?  Mac!!!

I'm gonna tag Rianne and anyone else who wants to do it!!

~ August Favourites 2014 ~

August Favourites

Mac / Ruby Woo

Okay so let me start off by saying the colour of this lipstick on here is not true to itself in real life.  Ruby Woo is a lipstick that looks different on everyone, the colour on someone depends on the colour of their lips.  I find on some people it looks red with a blue undertone which I LOVE but on me it's like a normal red with a pink undertone.  I was so happy to see this wrapped up for me when Dan bought it for me for my birthday, I've been wanting it for ages!  I love that it's a matte finish (best type of finish if you ask me!)  It just complements so many skin tones and it looks even better when you have a bit of a tan with dewy skin!

Essence // Lash Mania False Lashes Mascara

OMG this mascara!  This mascara retails at around £2.80 I believe and I think it could be the best mascara I have ever tried!  I will be doing a full review of it along with the other amazing bits I picked up from Essence.  This mascara just does wonders for my lashes.  It makes them so long and volumized and you only need one coat, amazing!!

Garnier // Micellar Cleansing Water

I picked this beauty about 2 weeks ago and I've just fallen in love with it!  I love the concept of cleansing water because it's just so easy to use.  I have already tried the L'Oreal one and up to now I don't know which one is better but I will have a full review of both coming up soon!  This one from Garnier though is just so nice to use and I love the fact that is's a big bottle so hopefully it will last ages!

Mac / Fix +

If you seen my wishlist from a few months ago you would of seen that I was dying to get my hands on fix +!  While I was in London in July I picked it up in Spitafield Market (the Mac store there) and I was just sold by it!  I also picked up heroine!  I will do a full review of fix + but basically it can be used in many ways but the way I use it mostly is that I spritz it over my face when all my makeup is complete to give me a dewy finish, plus it smells amazing!!
