My 2 new favourite skin cleansers!

For many months I have been using several cleansers, toners and moisturisers from Lush but recently I have found myself not being able to afford to keep up the regime so I thought that I would completely switch it up and pop into Boots to pick up a new cleanser (turns out I left with 2!)

As you can see above I bought the L'Oreal Paris skin perfection micellar water and the Anne French deep cleansing milk and I must say that these 2 cleansers work absolutely amazing together.

Firstly let me just explain how fucking amazing this L'Oreal water is.  I didn't think I could ever use a micellar water due to my skin being very sensitive and prone to redness and breakouts however I still decided to give it a go.  With this product you pop the water onto a cotton pad and swipe it all over your face.  I probably say I go through 4 Cotten pads while taking off my makeup at night and I use 1in the morning just to cleanse my skin.  The water breaks down the chemicals in the makeup leaving it to just glide off your face.  I absolutely adore the sleek packaging also and for only £3 you can't go wrong!

Secondly let me just explain about the Anne French deep cleansing milk!  Once I've used the micellar water to cleanse my skin and take off my makeup I will then go and use this milk to remove any excess makeup and give my skin an extra cleansing.  This product believe it or not actually looks like milk, ha!  Another big thing to me about this product is the fact that it smells exactly like Chanel N'o5 perfume to me.  It has that old fashioned smell to it and it's funny because when i brought it home to show my mum she said that she used the milk at my age, says it all!  Anyway, I personally don't like the smell of the old fashioned smell of Chanel but I find this very refreshing to put on my skin!  The first thing that catches my attention about this product was the packaging, I just think it's so nice  !  The milk retails at about £3.99

My three goodies from Beauty UK

Recently I was contacted by the amazing people at beautyuk and they were willing to send me three beautiful pieces from their range.  I'm not going to lie, when I knew they wanted to send me three things I was so excited because I love their products!  beautyuk have counters in many Superdrug's across the UK, but they also have a website which is linked above!  Below are the three things I chosen and I have written a  bit about each product, enjoy! x

Primer fx, Naked eye shadow pallet, Striped bronzer

 1.

This Prime FX Foundation Primer retails at £3.99 and for the money you're spending on this product you don't half get a lot out of it!  I have only ever used 2 primers in my life, this one and a colour correcting one by SmashBox and to be honest I cannot notice a difference between the 2, except the price!
The beautyuk primer is honestly so good.  I'll pop it on in the morning and it makes my makeup still looking fresh throughout the day up until early evening, I'll only have to top up my powder once throughout the day.

The consistency of this primer I would say is quite watery and is silicone based.  Your makeup apply's so well and smooth when using this primer and it's just more of an enjoyable experience.  I started using this primer about a month ago and I've noticed how well my makeup stays on but also how much product is packed into such a small bottle (20ml) and I haven't seen any loss of product, meaning the shape of the bottle has not changed due to using up the primer!  I'm basically saying the product goes a long way and lasts absolutely ages!  I know for sure that I will be repurchasing this amazing product, seeing as it is only 4 quid you can't really go wrong can you!

2.
2. The Naked Pallet

First of all I am absolutely obsessed with the name of this pallet!  I'm not sure whether or not beautyuk took the name from Urban Decay but either way I think it suits the colours so well because they are actually quite similar to each other.  The pallet is made up of mattes and shimmers and are just gorgeous tones!

The colours are so pigmented as you can see below, there are a number of browns, nudes and golds and warm coppers and reds/orange!  The first colour on the top I use to high light my brow and tear duct and it compliments my eyes so well.  I use this pallet to create a smokey eye, using a gold on my lid and brown in my crease.

For £3.99 you can't really complain at the amount of colours and pigment you get out of this pallet.  If you looking for a cheaper alternative to Urban Decay then I would really suggest this!

3. Striped Bronzer

I am absolutely in ore with this striped bronzer from their range, it's honestly just so beautiful!  I can go with 2 looks with this bronzer, first one being:
getting my contour brush from real techniques swirling it round the whole pallet and using it as bronzer/contour!  I will apply all 5 colours in my hallows of my cheeks, temples, forehead and jawline and the bridge of my nose.  This look creates "the sunkissed look" which obviously makes me look more tanned.  The second look I go for is:
using the lighter colours to high light my cheek bones, button of my nose and cupids bow then using the middle to as bronzer and using that on my hair line then using the darkest brown as a contour which makes my skin look so amazing and flawless I am just in LOVE with this bronzer!

If I had to choose a product I would repurchase again it would definitely be between the primer and bronzer!

I just wanna say a huge massive thank you to everyone at beautyuk for sending me these things.  I don't blog about things that aren't worth while but I just can't honestly get enough of these products at the moment!  The customer service was also very pleasant, the 2 women who I spoke to regarding this little project were very nice and they deserve all the success in the world!

Thank you for reading :)
