April Favourites 2014

1. Triangl underwear set - Lucie Spearmint  - omfg.  Seriously I cannot explain my excitement while writing this post!  Recently I was contacted by the lovely people at Triangl and they emailed me explaining that they had a look at my Instagram and they wanted to send me a free set of either their underwear or swimwear but as I don't really go on holiday that much I thought that an underwear set would be more useful.  When I received my email off them I was in so much shock because I know that Triangl only really send sets out to big bloggers however I know I'm not a big blogger, digging myself a hole here aren't I?!  Anyway I'm made up with my set!  It is literally the comfiest thing to swear and the colour is so flattering on, especially with a golden tan!  I may do another blog post all about this set but we'll see!

2. L'Oreal Skin Perfection 3in1 Purify Micellar Water  - about 3 weeks ago I picked up this new micellar water cleanser seeing as I cannot afford to keep up my lush cleansing routine and I didn't expect it to be this good tbh.  I have really sensitive skin that is prone to redness and really weird kind of spots so I didn't think this product would help however it hasn't effected my skin whatsoever.  I pop a bit of product on a cotton wool pad and wipe it all over my face to remove my makeup.  I go through about 4 of these while taking my makeup off at night and 1 in the morning to just generally clean my skin and it feels so refreshing to use!!  Also it has no smell to it which is a plus.

3. Anne French Cleansing Milk  - along with buying the micellar water I bought this Anne French cleansing milk.  Tbh I have no idea why I bought this, I think it was because of the packaging for some weird reason haha! If you have smelt the classic no5 Chanel perfume then you will realise that this smells exactly like that so go and smell both!  I use this after my L'Oreal product just to remove any makeup that didn't come off with the micellar water.  The milk is a cross between a cleanser and a moisturizer so I don't use a moisturizer after using the milk.  I use this mostly in the night.

4. L'OCCITANE Shea Butter Hand Cream  - ok so I usually HATE handcreams.  I find them so greasy and disgusting and I just don't think they're practical while travelling especially.  However this one from L'OCCITANE is sooo soo nice!  It has such a pleasant smell, not to strong and so fresh and it leaves my hands feeling quite dry but not a horrible dry and really not greasy and oily!  Also the size I have is so helpful! 

5. Real Techniques Buffing Brush - this brush is the most amazing brush ever to apply liquid foundation!  It's quite dense but at the same time it's easy to blend your foundation with.  The shape of the brush also really helps blend foundation.
